    The Security Services Engineer (SSE)
    The Security Services Engineer (SSE) works closely with the Customer Services Management and field engineering team in resolving customer support issues.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    01. The Security Services Engineer will: Report to the Director of Customer Support Service. Troubleshoot, identify and solve technical issues from the field, to ensure a successful client implementation of Starwave International products.

    02. Works with little or no supervision and can function at a team level or project lead team member on projects requiring multi-staff members.

    03. Serves as Subject Matter Expert on the Starwave International Product line and service offerings.

    04. Duties include Security requirement analysis, design, Starwave International product selection, implementation and placement.

    05. Be responsible for assignment documentation.

    06. Recognizes the importance of customer satisfaction and is able to consistently contribute.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Education: BSCS/BSEE degree or equivalent work experience and/or Starwave International practical knowledge.

    Industry Experience: 2-8 years based on Security Skills and/or Starwave International product applications.

    Certification: CISSP or similar combination of IT Security related training and product certifications.

    Technical Skills:
    • Must have the following: Excellent understanding of TCP/IP /HTTP
    • Excellent understanding of Computer Security as it relates to Starwave International
    • Excellent understanding of the functionality of network components
    • Good knowledge of Linux and script programming
    • Ability to grasp new concepts and learn new Starwave International software and hardware applications

    COMMUNICATION SKILLS
    Verbal: Is able to professionally communicate technical issues and ideas with peers and clients in a formal manner

    Written: Is able to produce technical documents and presentations related to activities, with little or no assistance from senior staff.

    Presentation: Able to clearly present technical issues to staff at all levels.

    Sales Engineer
    A leader in the application security market has a requirement for an intelligent, articulate and driven system engineer superstar with high-energy, in-born technical instinct, drive and motivation. The candidate must have enterprise security pre-sales support experience and a proven track record of significant achievement in this market. This position will work closely with inside sales and the field sales organization in support of our corporate revenue goals.

    We are expanding our sales organization to support demand brought about by the maturing of the application security market and our new product announcements.

    This is an opportunity to capitalize on the next significant opportunity in the enterprise security market.

    We are seeking veteran system engineering professionals with a track record of success supporting the direct and channel sales organizations in the field. We have requirements in the South East Asia area.

    RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
    01. The Sales Engineer will have responsibility for delivering pre-sales support needed to achieve revenue targets for the company, while building the foundation for long term leadership in the application security market space. He or she will be responsible for leveraging the initial success of the founding team. You have the ability to quickly discern qualified from non-qualified opportunities.

    02. You will work with the sales team to develop and position solutions that involve the company’s products. You will assist customers in configuring enterprise security and application security solutions as well as support your own field organization in proposal creation and responding to RFP’s.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    01. Has obtained one or all: CISSP, MCSE, SUN Professional or CNE Proven ability to sell new technology and build relationships with initial reference accounts.

    02. Ability to support both direct and channel sales environments.

    03. Extremely proficient in networking topologies and system analysis.

    04. The ability to scope a business opportunity and create a corresponding statement of work.

    05. Equally conversant with a CIO, CISO as you are with a project leader.

    06. Fluent in a structured sales methodology such as Solution Selling, Miller-Heiman, SPIN or Sandler.

    07. An existing knowledge of a major CRM system.

    08. Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.

    09. Confident platform skills.

    PREFERRED PROFILE
    The ideal candidate will have the entrepreneurial DNA to open and develop new markets. The candidate should be seasoned in working both private and public sector markets. Experience with large players in information technology have given you the discipline and business process for success, but you have also worked for at least one emerging growth start up so you have no problem rolling up your sleeves to get a deal done.

    CANDIDATE MUST HAVE
    A bachelor’s degree from a respected college or university, or equivalent experience in the information technology marketplace or armed services. You have a passion for this industry and are looking for an exciting opportunity to leverage your past experiences and skill set for your future success.

    Inside Sales Representative Department: Sales
    Reports To: Director of Inside Sales

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    01. Directly follow up with assigned leads, inbound calls, evaluations requests, and close mid-market business via phone.

    02. Manage all customers through the sales cycle, including qualification, evaluation and closing.

    03. Prospect into target accounts to hunt for larger opportunities

    04. Work with Starwave International partners/consultants to grow overall coverage of assigned territory.

    05. Update CRM (sf.com) accurately and consistently.

    QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
    01. 3+ years of software selling experience.

    02. Documented Success – Proven Past Performance.

    03. Experienced in closing business over phone/email.

    04. Cold calling experience.

    05. Reasonable length of time with past employers.

    06. Strong computer skills: Sf.com, Word & Excel.

    07. Technically proficient and confident.

    08. High energy-level exercised with strong business judgment.

    09. Very comfortable and articulate over the phone and in email.

    10. BA/BS Required.

    PREFFERED
    01. Experience with conducting web-based demos using such tools as WebEx.

    02. Technical background.

    03. Network and/or application security sales experience.
